VOLVO EX30 –
A not-so-big, big deal

To support the launch of Volvo’s smallest fully electric SUV, we collaborated with AKQA to create a suite of immersive digital out-of-home visuals that would communicate the EX30’s bold design and low environmental footprint.
Drawing on the model’s nature-inspired design palette, we developed modular content themes that echoed the vehicle’s material choices and lighting options — from Aurora Borealis to reflected surfaces and elemental textures. Each visual scene functioned as a sensory shorthand for the EX30’s promise: compact, conscious, and unmistakably Volvo.
Technical delivery required adapting each execution to the spatial and resolution constraints of sites across New York and Los Angeles, including wide-format billboards and vertical displays.
