VOLVO ES90 –
Life in Balance

For the global reveal of the ES90, AKQA conceived a keynote installation in which the car would be concealed within sheer fabric screens — transforming the stage into a floating, glowing cube. Our film was projection-mapped onto those screens. I led the creative execution: developing the four material objects at the heart of the piece — metal, glass, fabric, and technology — crafting each one's physical behaviour, and directing the animation so that as the objects drifted and settled into the silhouette of the car itself, the reveal felt inevitable rather than choreographed.
