SUSPICION –
Title Sequence
Creative Director, 2D Lead, Territory Studio
Tasked with designing the title sequence for the Apple TV+ thriller Suspicion, we developed a visual concept that would embody the show’s themes of mistrust, surveillance and shifting identities. The goal was to establish a sense of unease from the outset — a fractured world where nothing is quite what it seems.

The sequence unfolds inside a kaleidoscopic maze of mirrored surfaces — abstract but architectural, distorted yet deliberate. Faces fragment, multiply, and disappear as the reflections fold in on themselves. This motif of recursive imagery not only nodded to the show’s central themes of mistaken identity and public scrutiny, but also offered a cinematic metaphor for narrative misdirection.
The design language was restrained and graphical, relying on stylised lighting, shallow depth, and stark contrast. We intentionally avoided literal narrative clues, instead using rhythm, reflection and visual metaphor to create a sense of psychological pressure — setting the tone for what’s to come.

The sequence premiered alongside the launch of the series on Apple TV+, and helped define the visual character of a show built on suspicion, media distortion, and the unreliability of what’s seen.
