Celebrating an Iconic Sneaker

Territory Studio partnered with Nike to create Our Force 1, a motion-led celebration of the Air Force 1’s cultural legacy—designed to reframe the sneaker for its next chapter in a digital-first world.
Drawing on community-driven creativity and digital craftsmanship, we developed a modular animation system that visualised the Air Force 1’s evolution—from its origin as a basketball shoe to a global fashion icon. Using layered motion graphics, sculpted CG elements, and rhythm-based sequencing, the film references materiality (leather folds, stitches, kicks in flight) while also nodding to remix culture and collectiveness.
Look Development
Our pipeline integrated Cinema 4D, After Effects, and Houdini for procedural dynamics—creating responsive overlays that could be adapted across formats: social posts, online ads, and AR experiences. At its heart, the piece connects legacy with future identity—remixing heritage for a digitally native audience.
