Channel Idents
Director & Creative Director, The Mill
In collaboration with DixonBaxi, I directed and led creative development on a series of cinematic idents for Movies Now HD — a premium Indian movie channel dedicated to Hollywood blockbusters. The brief called for a bold, energetic brand expression that could sit confidently alongside the high-octane content it introduced.
Working closely with the DixonBaxi team, we developed a modular set of idents, each themed around the tone and genre of specific film franchises such as Die Hard, The Transporter, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and The Wolverine. The idents were designed to evoke the visceral energy and drama of blockbuster cinema — fused with a sleek, high-definition aesthetic tailored to the new channel’s positioning.
The main generic sting — featured here — served as the core brand signature, while the film-specific idents extended the language through tailored motion design and colour palettes. The entire system was built to reflect scale, excitement, and the transformative energy of Hollywood storytelling.
