Launch Promo

Produced for Channel 4’s Celebrity Big Brother 2010 launch, this dramatic promo centred around the transformation of elemental fire into the show’s iconic “eye” symbol. Shot on F35mm in a controlled studio environment, we captured high-speed plates of flames to serve as the foundation for the final sequence.

The concept hinged on a slow, deliberate build-up — fire spreading and intensifying until it formed the recognisable Big Brother eye, entirely composed of real flame textures. The result was a stylised yet tactile take on the show’s identity, aligning with the season’s heightened drama and spectacle.

Post-production was completed at The Mill, where we layered practical fire elements with VFX to create a seamless and cinematic reveal.
