BT WIRELESS –
Light Stream
VFX Supervisor, Creative Direction, The Mill
Part of BT’s ongoing Light Stream campaign, Wireless explores how invisible signals connect the world around us — visualising the spread of wireless connectivity through London’s homes and streets.
Directed by Thomas Napper for AMV and produced by HSI, the concept relied on a practical, in-camera technique to make the invisible visible. Light bars were run through streets, buildings, and interiors and captured using long-exposure photography to create flowing trails of energy — representing the movement of wireless data across the city.
As Shoot Supervisor and After Effects Lead, I worked across both production and post to ensure seamless integration between the live-action and visual effects. The result is a subtle, elegant interpretation of wireless technology — designed to feel organic, immersive, and rooted in real-world environments.
